These terms apply when you use sayhappybirthdayworldwide.com (“the site”). The site is run by Martin Gregory in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hellobirthdayworldwide@gmail.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You can use the site, free of charge, to make birthday wishes and send them to people you know. Please do not use it to:
We may block wishes or links that break these rules.
What you write in a wish belongs to you, and you are responsible for it. Each wish has its own private link, and anyone with the link can see it, so only share it with the person it is for. Opening the link shows the wish exactly as it was written; we do not check or change it, apart from removing web addresses from messages. We keep each wish for 12 months, then delete it, so the link stops working after that. We may delete a wish sooner if it breaks these terms.
Our greetings, translations and language guides are written with care and checked, but languages are rich and vary from place to place, so they may not always be perfect. They are for fun and learning. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
The design of the site, its pictures, the birthday tunes, the language guides and the site’s words belong to us. Please do not copy them for other websites or products without asking. You are welcome to share links to the site.
We work hard to keep the site running and working on phones and computers, but we cannot promise it will always be available, without errors, or work the same on every device. Sounds, the microphone and some effects depend on your device and its settings.
The site is free, and we are not responsible for any loss caused by using it or by a wish someone else sent, except where the law says we must be. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
The site is free today. If we add paid extras in the future (such as a keepsake video), they will have their own clear terms shown before you pay.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also have the protection of your local laws and courts.
